Dogsee Sets Up Their New Carbon-Negative Factory

Dogsee Bangalore

Dogsee, one of India's largest dog treat brands, has established its fifth manufacturing and packaging unit: a carbon-negative factory in Bangalore.
The team has invested around $1 million to build it and is planning to add $8 million to expand in the next 24 months.

The factory has the capacity to produce 100 tons of Himalayan Chews monthly with the capability to accommodate a future vision of 500 tons a month by the end of this fiscal year.

It’s spread across an area of 23,000 sq. and employs 150 individuals currently. The company plans to hire 200 more employees at this plant over the course of one year said Bhupendra Khanal, co-founder of Dogsee. Additionally, they’re preparing to expand their product portfolio in the next 2 years by launching treats for cats, birds, and small animals.

The new facility has achieved a net-zero carbon status. And with a solar energy backing installed at the plant unit, Dogsee plans to take more such steps towards sustainability in the coming future. Their aim is to be the most ethical and ecological brand in the pet industry and cater to the well-being of not just pets, but the environment as a whole.
