Pet management made convenient! Students from Bengaluru's PES University have designed a Pet Smartwatch named ‘FOND,’ capable of tracking pets' activities and health. This device can be fixed to the pet’s collar.  

The designers- Pallavi, Prarthana, and Vismaya believe that this watch could help extend the lifespan of pets by monitoring their overall health including their daily food intake and exercise.

“We already have a few clients and are planning a big launch in a couple of days,” said Suresh N, PES University’s Startups Director. ‘FOND’ will be soon available at www.thefond.com.

The designer trio is also working on building an automatic “Dry Food Dispenser” that could keep track of pets’ food habits. Both of these devices are meant to function with an app already available for Android and iOS users!
