Advancements in Veterinary Science – Redefining Pet Care at SuperPets

Veterinary science today is entering an era where pets are receiving levels of medical care that were once
reserved only for humans. From advanced endoscopic surgeries to dialysis and structured rehabilitation, modern
veterinary medicine is redefining what is possible for animal health, recovery, and quality of life.
At SuperPets – A Veterinary MultiSpeciality Hospital, this transformation is not simply observed — it is actively
practiced every day.

Co founded by Dr. Yash Savla and Dr. Nikita Pujari, SuperPets was built on a powerful belief: every life deserves
a second chance. Guided by the philosophy “Second Chance to One Life,” the hospital approaches every patient
with relentless determination and compassion. No case is labelled hopeless, and no effort is spared when it
comes to saving or improving a life.

With a team of 20–25 veterinary doctors across different specialities, and an administrative backbone of more
than 70 dedicated team members led by copartner Mr. Sumit Kamble, SuperPets functions as a comprehensive,
integrated care centre where innovation meets compassion.

Every day, this philosophy translates into real outcomes — critically ill pets stabilised, mobility restored in
paralysed patients, and families reunited with companions who were once thought beyond recovery.

Minimally Invasive Revolution: NOTES & Gastroscopic Gastropexy

Modern veterinary science increasingly focuses on minimally invasive procedures that reduce trauma and
accelerate healing.
NOTES (Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) allows surgeons to access internal organs through
natural body openings using specialised endoscopic equipment. The result is no external incision, reduced pain,
minimal scarring, and significantly faster recovery.
Gastroscopic gastropexy is a preventive procedure especially life saving for large breed dogs prone to Gastric
Dilatation Volvulus (GDV), commonly known as bloat. Instead of open abdominal surgery, the stomach can be
anchored endoscopically to prevent life threatening twisting.

Dialysis: Supporting Failing Kidneys

Veterinary dialysis provides life saving support for pets suffering from acute kidney injury or toxin exposure.
When kidneys are unable to filter waste effectively, dialysis temporarily performs this function, stabilising the
patient and creating a crucial window for recovery.

Tracheal Stenting: Giving Breath Back
Small breed dogs commonly suffer from tracheal collapse, which severely restricts breathing. Tracheal stenting is
a minimally invasive procedure in which a specialised stent is placed inside the trachea to keep the airway open,
dramatically improving breathing comfort and quality of life.

The Rise of Veterinary Physical Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation is becoming an essential component of advanced veterinary treatment. At SuperPets, structured
rehabilitation programs help patients recover faster and regain strength after illness, injury, or surgery.
Physiotherapy rebuilds muscle mass and improves joint range of motion. Hydrotherapy through underwater
treadmill therapy reduces joint loading while encouraging muscle strengthening and endurance. Acupuncture
helps reduce pain and stimulate nerve recovery, while chiropractic alignment improves mobility and overall
biomechanical function.

Multi Speciality Collaboration
Complex cases benefit greatly from collaborative medical decision making. Having multiple specialists under one
roof enables faster diagnosis, integrated treatment planning, and seamless transition from critical care to
rehabilitation.

Where Science Meets Compassion
While advanced technology forms the backbone of modern veterinary medicine, compassion remains its heart.
Every procedure, therapy, and rehabilitation plan at SuperPets is driven by a commitment to improve not just
survival, but the quality of life of every patient.

The Future of Veterinary Science
The future of veterinary medicine will continue to evolve through regenerative medicine, advanced imaging,
personalised treatment protocols, and preventive genetic screening.
At SuperPets, the mission remains simple yet profound — to push the boundaries of what is medically possible
and ensure that every patient gets the opportunity to fight, recover, and live a better life.

Innovation at SuperPets is not just about technology — it is about giving every pet the second chance it deserves.
