Our Story: Dreams to Wagging Tails!

Roms N Raks! Founded by pet parents blending artistry, entrepreneurship, and business savvy, the brand has grown into a trusted paradise for dogs, cats, and beyond across India. An experience created by an emerging businessman and an artist! Yes an artist with a finesse to work on creative styling and a young man with entrepreneurship engrained in him.

The journey is joined by a banker who brings in his business acumen to help Roms N Raks grow and become a paradise for the ‘Barkers’ and the ‘Puffers’ of Kerala. Currently with Ever tusk, a women led enterprise as a partner in the emerging growth story we are surging ahead with a dream to grow and touch the lives of many more pets across India. 

What started on Oct 27th 2018 as a heartfelt endeavor by an artist, an entrepreneur and a banker evolved into 23 stores spanning across Kerala, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Starting a pet store isn’t just about selling toys and treats, it’s embarking on a heartwarming adventure that blends entrepreneurship with the joy of nurturing furry companions. The unbreakable bonds with furry companions and their parents have transformed us as individual and as families.

Groomed to Purr-fection: Where Tails Wag in Awe!!

One of the challenges we faced as pet parents was a place for quality consistent grooming. That was one of the gaps we found, so when entrepreneurship bug bit us we decided to create many world-class grooming facilities. Transparent glass-walled grooming salons addressed urban pet parents need for quality and visible care. When we started our grooming facilities, we realized addressing India’s lack of skilled professionals in this space will be a challenge and will be a hinderance for us to provide the quality that we had envisaged. The availability of skilled groomers is critical for us to scale up, at the same time we are committed to ensure the same quality of service across all centers. So we took the step of starting an academy with certification programs and partnership with our international partners Tauro Proline. 

One Stop Hub

Urban pet parents increasingly view pets as kin and offer the best products and services. Pets are increasingly spending more time inside their homes. This decreases their physical activities and selection of the appropriate food makes it even more critical. As each of the pet families are different and requirements are diverse, we are working towards creating a one stop solution for all their pet needs. We carry all kinds of food products and brands, toys and accessories. We have all experienced the pain of having to leave our pets in boardings when travelling and the challenges that come along with that. We do support our pet families with limited boarding facilities and focused care. 

Our close commitments with shelters that we support have been been an inspiration to work harder in nurturing some of these initiatives.

Future Unfolds….

The voyage to expand and reach across all the major cities of India has begun. As part of our focus on responsible pet parenting we strive to focus on stores that provide superior grooming, high quality, age-appropriate nutrition and joyful hangouts for the pets and their parents. The brand will curate more diverse products for varied needs while fostering pet-parent communities in lively store spaces.
