Inhale. Hold. Exhale. Repeat.
It is almost frightening that we don’t feel our breath. But it is scarier to realize that we do feel it. And every step becomes a journey. I got the second biggest jolt of my life (first one being our castration deemed legal) when I realized that my human is facing difficulties in breathing. They don’t show it or move to hushed whispers when I am around, but I know it is because of me. I am a dog in a human family. My fur and dander sometimes irritates my human’s lungs, an errand mouse from the neighbourhood told me so.
Apparently, the indoor air quality becomes neglected due to pollution. Natural dust and various animal wastes such as mane and lint in the house only add to the crisis. Humans and even us animals may deny it out of mutual love, but we put their health more or less in jeopardy. But not anymore.
Now we can all BreatheEasy. Poor indoor air quality can be checked and mapped on Laser Egg Sensors and air can now be purified for real! Don’t believe me? Now you can test your indoor home air quality yourself too. Bhowzies! Unlike those artificial air fragrances, my human can now purify air with natural plants and purifiers. With WHO permitting only 15 micrograms per cubic metre of pollution level, we, ignoring the threats to our planet as always, stretch the range to 300-500 micrograms per cubic metre.
For dog’s sake, groom me better, lazy humans. Those cretin mice also said that putting cinnamon on my pee spots discourages us dogs to pee on the same spot twice. Damn you, Cinnamon! Well, since vinegar mixed in water mopped around the house achieves the same feat, it’s interesting to see how humans would do so much to bugger us down but nothing for their own health. Work your way up for your health humans. Because if you don’t, it really is no fun having the whole bed for our own selves.
